Design for scalability (handling millions of users), reliability (99.99% uptime), security (protecting data and systems), and cost optimization (controlling cloud spending). Build complete production systems: set up VPCs and networking, configure load balancers and auto-scaling, implement monitoring and alerting, manage secrets and compliance, and establish disaster recovery.
